Visit to the MoMA

On my visit to the MoMa I saw lots of pieces that I liked, specially in the contemporary design section. But this time I will talk about 2 pieces that I liked a lot in terms of layout.

My favorite pice was the one of Woody Allen (not just because I love him and his movies) but also because I loved how the artist made with the same materials three different collages.
I think that this piece is very successful because the font used for the text is very simple, what creates a perfect background to the density of the images used to creat the collage. I also loved the transition from colors, to black and white and then just the original image but with a very subtle change.  Although in the firts 2 images what you see the most are the stars you keep putting all of your attention in the 2 persons.

The other piece that I loved was the accordion book. I think that the flow that the artist created was very interesting because it goes from a really simple design to a very complex one. It looks like a labyrinth.
I really like the softness that the artist use in each page to create a whole new design but still linked to the one before. The cover is very simple which is good because it gives all the attention to the things that are after it.
